Department of Homeland Security (DHS) plans to open a new offices in the Middle East.
On October 6, DHS announced it's plans to set up law enforcement offices in the Middle East. The DHS will assign agents to investigate any visa applicants who are suspected of ties to Al Qaeda or any other terrorist groups.
The new offices are scheduled to open early next year in U.S. Embassies and Consulates in:
Egypt, Indonesia, Morocco, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. The DHS has already set up offices in Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
